Winery review: "Oak, tannin, pepper and spice combine to enhance the black currant and dark cherry flavors of our Cabernet," according to the back of the bottle.
My review: This wine definitely smells of oak and dark cherry at first sniff. It had a very dark red tint, which was accompanied by its acidic, tannic flavors. I also tasted citrusy fruit flavors, in addition to dark fruits. I tried three wines for free from Put A Cork In It in Oklahoma City, and this one was my favorite!
I tasted this on its own with no food.
